Jillian Cox | Chief Executive Officer
Jill Cox, CEO of Lumen, has dedicated her career to supporting neurodiverse young people and their families. With a background in education and human services, Jill first discovered her passion for working with individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) while at a therapeutic boarding school. From there, she became a Behavior Specialist, where she provided direct intervention, trained staff in crisis prevention, and helped schools create safe, supportive environments.
Her work in nonprofit organizations deepened her commitment to advocacy and family support, giving her the opportunity to train parents, guide staff, and ensure that client behavior was understood as meaningful communication. Jill’s philosophy is rooted in the belief that strong relationships create the foundation for growth, safety, and positive change.
Originally from New England, Jill moved to Georgia in 2017 to be closer to family, the same year she welcomed her daughter. Outside of Lumen, she enjoys reading, baking, and traveling back home to spend time with loved ones.
